Wihan Quartet Leoš Čepický Jan Schulmeister Jiří Žigmund Aleš Kaspřík Wihan Quartet is one of leading string quartets that have recently come to existence thanks to huge Czech interpretation school. The quartet was established in 1985 and it still consists of its original four members. It has exceptional reputation for interpretation of Czech repertoire as well as many of the most important quartet pieces of classicist, romantic, and modern pieces. Its developing and respectable international career includes performances at the most important festivals in Europe and the Far East.
