České dědictví UNESCO - UNESCO Czech Heritage (hereinafter referred to as the "ČDU") is the owner and operator internet web site  (hereinafter referred to as the "Site") at the following domains:

Protection of Personal Data

1. ČDU processes personal data in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27th April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Personal Data Protection Ordinance or GDPR).

2. The Voluntary Union of Municipalities of UNESCO Czech Heritage is both the administrator and the processor of personal data.

3. ČDU keeps your personal data securely and protects it against unauthorised persons, misuse or disclosure. Your data is stored securely on web servers in a controlled and protected environment, provided with state-of-the-art hardware and software data protection systems.

4. The ČDU hereby fulfils its obligation to inform the data subjects concerned about the processing of personal data it performs and to exercise the rights of the data subjects under the General Data Protection Regulation.

5. Personal data shall not be passed on to other persons unless the obligation of their surrender to authorities, institutions or other bodies is imposed by a special legal regulation or the consent of the data subject. The administrator does not expect personal data to be transferred to third countries (outside the EU).

6. Personal data is processed only for the necessary time, until the data subject expresses his/her will to disable their Portal. After this statement, personal data will be discarded unless there is a legitimate reason to keep them. This right may, of course, also apply to data relating to legal personality data. Even if you disagree, you will be removed.

7. In relation to the processing of personal data, the data subject shall be entitled to:

  • access their personal data, which is enabled by logging in at www.unesco-czech.com/account/;
  • repair them, which is possible after logging in at the address above;
  • delete them, which is done after they send an e-mail request to the above contact;
  • object to their processing;
  • portability of their data.

8. Users’ (registered visitors’) following personal information is managed within the Portal:

  • email address,
  • other information that they voluntarily communicate (forename, surname, address, telephone).

The Portal allows you to order a regular monthly newsletter to be sent via e-mail. If you are not interested in subscribing to the newsletter, just click on the unsubscribe link provided in the newsletter.

Buying goods in the e-shop does not automatically register the user, nor does he/she register their e-mail address for the newsletter. These data are only stored in the order list.

9. Within the Portal, personal data may be displayed on objects, events or entities presented, limited to:

  • forename and surname,
  • email address,
  • telephone number.

The administrators of the objects/subjects presented, and the organisers of the events presented have the option to update their data online and to do so completely free of charge via the administration www.aktualizuj.me, or, if need be, to request the deactivation of their presentation.

The source of data on objects/subjects presented is the CZeCOT information system (more on www.czecot.info), operated by World Media Partners, s.r.o. with its registered office at Táboritská 23, 130 00 Praha 3, ID 26208075.

10. Google Analytics, powered by Google, Inc., is used to track and analyse traffic. within which those IP addresses detected are anonymised and remarketing is off. The storage of user data is not time-limited.

11. The data subject's request will always be properly assessed and settled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the General Regulation on the protection of personal data (Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC). If the data subject does not agree with the settlement, he has the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).

12.Site pages may also include a number of links to other websites in the interest of visitors. The privacy policy described above may not apply to sites that are not operated by ČDU.

Hostile attacks

Any event with the aim of erasing, displacing or altering the contents of the web pages of the portal, with the exception of partners authorised to perform administration of the content, attacks with the intention of delaying or preventing reading of pages or impairing any of its functions, DoS, DDoS or other activity of a similar character shall be considered a criminal offence. In such a case the above information relating to personal data protection shall not apply. The identification data of the offender shall be handed to the police and other bodies without delay.

Guarantee and liability

Neither ČDU, any employee thereof, the portal administrator, any employee thereof or co-worker shall accept any responsibility for the content of the web pages of the portal, and shall not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information, graphics, text, references or other materials made available here, and shall not be liable for any special, indirect, secondary or consequent damages, including but not limited to lost income or lost profit which may occur due to the use of these materials. The content is provided without guarantee of any time and is entirely at the user’s own risk.

Protection of copyright

The portal is the work of an author, both as a whole and in its individual parts. Copyright is owned and administered by ČDU.
It is permitted to save excerpts from the web pages of the portal on a local computer and to print out copies thereof only for personal, non-commercial use. Any other manner of use, reproduction, adaptation, adjustment, other alteration, distribution or saving of the web sites of the portal in any form and using any means, either in whole or in part, without prior written consent from ČDU, is prohibited.

Products and services of partners listed on the web pages, as well as information about them and images thereof, as well as further works, may be protected by further rights of the affected persons. The names and indications of products, services, companies, persons, societies and organisations may be registered trademarks of the relevant owners. Author’s works of other persons may also be found on these web pages.

Termination

ČDU reserves the right to immediately terminate your use to the page or access to this page in the case that it judges that you have violated any of the provisions of this clause or any of the valid legal prescriptions, or in the case that it considers your conduct on the page to be inappropriate or unacceptable.

Reservation of right to amendment

ČDU reserves the right to update or amend this Declaration in case of necessity. Any amendments shall be announced on this page without delay.
