Monika Načeva and Michal Pavlíček met in 1994 while working on Monika’s debut album, which bears the same title. The project was quite a success, as the union of the admired guitar mage, the creator of music specialties and greatly impressive ballads, as well as of symphonic and stage music of a very original character with one of the most specific female singers in the Czech alternative scene, who had gone through several changes from classic rock through electronic dance music to experiments outside the boundaries of style, brings forth a unique experience on stage. The diversity of musical structures will be enhanced by the Pavel Bořkovec string quartet, focusing especially on 20th and 21st century Czech classical music. An ideal combination.
