trip planner Josef Bolf: Inventory Before Disappearance

Czech Josef Bolf: Inventář před zmizením

The Czech painter displays his latest works under the name Inventory
before disappearance. We can find here large-size landscape paintings as well as small portraits and art movies. Melancholy and dark colours bring us to his dreamy world that is inspired by Eugén Atget´s photos from Paris. He also says about his inspirations: "... it can also be related to dreams, that you later forget. Or it can be
connected with a list of things that lose their reason. Inventory is also a name for a list of tools that you can use, when you are playing a computer game. It is a list of things that the player finds during a game or has bought or received at the beginning of the game." Three art-movies and slightly older paintings with their typical Bolf
ironical and sceptical aesthetic are also part of the exhibition.

The exposition is part of a series of independent exhibitions called Intimissimo,
Czech and Austrian artists are represented in it:
Josef Bolf | Alena Kupčíková | Roman Týc |
Miriam Schwack | Ztohoven | Bernadette Huber|
Paul Horn & Harald Hund | Daniel Amin Zaman.
