In its present Neo-Gothic form, together with the adjacent Municipal House, it belongs among the symbols of Prague city. Its current form comes from the period between 1878-86 when it was reconstructed. At the height of 43 m, there is a narrow accessible walkway, from which you get a beautiful view of the city. 186 steps lead to the 65 m high gate.
