The Baroque building of the former Jesuit College is one of the oldest parts of the university in Olomouc. After an exacting renovation on a grand scale, Palacký University now owns a spacious historical building with many original rooms and halls. The convict building includes the Chapel of Corpus Christi. It is one of the most valuable Baroque church interiors in Moravia with extensive painting and sculptural decoration. The ceiling frescoes are the work of the Olomouc Baroque sculptor Jan Kryškof Handke.
