An architectural monument and famous Baroque pilgrimage site dating to 1626, when the corner stone of the Loretto Chapel was laid. The founder and first patron was Benigna Catherine of Lobkowicz; the Loretto functioned under Lobkowicz patronage until the beginning of the 20th century. During this period constructional and interior modifications were made; in the 1950's and 1960's a new jewel treasury was built.
