Piarist friary began to built the baroque church of St. Jan Baptist on the premises of the original Romanic church according to the project of achitect Cyrani from Bolleshaus. The church was finished in 1768 and has been preserved in the original form up to now. The inner height of the dome reaches 35 metres.
