Refugees – Towards freedom via Prague – Exodus of Eastern-German citizens to West-Germany via Czechoslovakia in autumn 1989. An exceptional collection of photographs taken by Blanka Lamrová in autumn 1989 when crowds of refugees from Eastern Germany tried to penetrate to the West-German Embassy in Prague, Vlašská street.

Archive of Freedom at Schwarzenberg Castle – Contribution to the history of Czechoslovak exile on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the foundation of the Czechoslovak Documentation Centre. The exhibition shows the way leading to the creation of one of the most important Czechoslovak exile institution of the second half of the 20th century and documents the efforts of the group of personalities of the cultural and political exile supported by “insiders” and foreign allies.

Gordon Skilling – Life and work – Exhibition on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of an important Canadian historian, political scientist and Slavicist. Through his life and work H. Gordon Skill was closely connected with the dramatic history of Czechoslovakia from the late 30s to the democratic revolution in 1989. Skilling´s works have made Czechoslovak events to a part of European and world-wide history. He tirelessly cared for the preservation of the results of independent thinking and creation in Czechoslovakia.
